Can you see me?
Can you feel the hate and the love?
Do you even know who I am or do you believe what you see?
I am very skilled at teaching you who I want you to see in me.
I am above life; I am beyond your understanding.
I am the breath you breathe; I am your favorite place.
I am your worst fear; I am your darkest dream.
I am freedom and rage; I am suppression and love.
I am able to create life; I am able to bring death.
I am the way you destroyed.
I am the way you want to live.
I am the originator.
Do you really think the freedom you find is a new thing?
It was shown to you and your past back when you thought genocide was the only way.
We tried to teach you; we tried to show you, but you wanted to save us.
Your will and beliefs were forced on us.
We had to learn your history; we had to speak your tongue.
It is funny to look back and see that the way you tried to destroy is the way you will be saved.
You twist and manipulate words and lives to further yours; you turn a blind eye to the very essence of the life you say you love.
You read this and still do not understand.
You believe it is arrogance.
You believe it is anger, rage, sin.
I have lived and seen what you do not know exists.
I am the phoenix; I rise from the ashes and am reborn.
We will bring light to the darkness you have brought us to.
In the end of times we will be there.
In nothingness, we will be there.
In the end I will reach out my hand to you not because of who you are, only because you are life.
For it is my path, it is why I am here.
It is why I can not die; it is why I live in you.
For I am the warrior spirit.
I see what you are afraid to see.
I fight what you are afraid to fight.
