Well this is the first chance to have any contact to the outside world.
I am on a 4 hour pass. I already called the house and talked to Dawn and the kids for a while and I am going to call again before I go back.
Things are fun here. I am having a blast. The only bad part is not talking to anyone.

I am going to be coming home for X-mas and should make it to Kyles Birthday.
I will be coming back to Ft. Benning on the 3rd of Jan.

Well I am going to go.

We all went to Gatorland today. Kyle had off from school. We had a lot of fun. The only thing missing was Gordon.

We got another letter from Gordon today. He said he is having fun but wishes he had us there or had the ability to talk to us. He is starting jujitsu training and went to the gas chamber today. I have the address if anyone wants to write, just call me or his mom.

We just got Gordon's first letter. Here is what he had to say......
Well this is the first time I had a chance to do anything. We got here about 12:00am on Wednesday and still we have not a chance to sleep. I am really missing all of you.
Now it is Thursday we finally had time to sleep. I am surrounded by a bunch of fuckoffs. I am hoping that they drop out by AIT. I hope all is well and the kids are being good. I miss you guys very much. And we have a lot of time to think while standing in formation and getting smoked.
I have to have you fill out a form for dental. You are going to be getting stuff for ID's and shit sometime soon. We are going to be going to basic on next Friday. So if you write do it before then or I will write again once I get to BCT.
