Freekin' People

Today we went out to Island of Adventures. Toward the end of the day we went to one of Kyle’s favorite rides, The Flying Unicorn, and waited for about 30 – 45 minutes in line. While in line John overhears the family behind us expressing there displeasure in having a child in front of them with a Mohawk, and how his parents could do that to him. Now I am a nice guy, I can tolerate a lot of crap from people but never talk crap about my son or my parenting skills.

So being the nice person I am, I began to talk to Kyle in an elevated voice about splitting his Mohawk into two and dying it Pink. Kyle was in agreement. I began to explain to him the reason we are going to do it is to have people ask “How could his parents do that to him, and they should be arrested for Child abuse!!!” I then asked him if he was happy that I was not a stuck up tight ass father who had a problem with what he wanted. “Isn’t it nice I don’t have a stick up my ass like some people?” I asked him.

This seems to be an ongoing thing these days. People thinking that they need to explain why what you do is wrong. I am spiritual person and I believe in a God but I see the majority of this crap comes from the “Bible Bangers”. It is the people who feel the need to save you or the need to explain to you the only way to live your life, that drive me crazy. Not to mention most of them like little boys. The really scary part is they now are making there way into government. God help us All.
Now I don’t know how it jumped from a dip-shit smartass in line to “Bible Bangers” but I guess I have some issues to work out.
